A pool unit stake is advertised at the point of sale, currently £2.00 for the Team 11 game and £5.00 for the Team 6 game, or may be such amount as is advertised at the point of transaction in other local currencies. Minimum total stake = 1/10 pool unit.

An entry can also be compiled remotely through the notified remote link using the megafan.game application. This generates a team code which can be submitted by the Collector to place the entry.

An entry can only be placed through a remote system software link or equivalent remote mechanism to Betting Limited’s central pool systems.

2.4 Pool deduction rate

The default, and maximum current deduction rate for the Global Pool is 30% (The net pool from which prizes are declared is therefore 70% of the gross pool) The current deduction rate for the Local Pool is 0% (The net pool from which prizes are declared is therefore 100% of the gross pool). The pool deduction rate may from time to time be set at a different rate for specific pool events, and where this is the case the different rate will be advertised at the point of sale. Where a guaranteed minimum prize pool is advertised in connection with a specific pool event and pool type the deduction rate applies only once the minimum guarantee has been exceeded.

2.5 Scoring and calculation of winnings

Each player in a team will score points dependent on how well they play during a match. The way they score points is determined by the Scoring Matrix. The Scoring Matrix is published on www.megafan.game and also is available from the Collector. The Scoring Matrix may vary dependent on the pool event entered. Players may score points for the entire duration of the game which will include full-time, injury time and extra time only. For the avoidance of doubt points will not we scored for players during penalty shootouts. The Scoring Matrix may be consulted when choosing the players for your team.

The data which determines the Scoring Matrix is taken from an independent source not related to Betting Limited. The current MFM game uses data published by Opta, part of the Perform group. Other independent data suppliers may be used from time to time according to the game type and the Scoring Matrix.

Team 11 entries where the total cost of the team is less than or equal to a notional 100 million (x) will score full points calculated by reference to the Scoring Matrix. Team entries where the total cost of the team exceeds 100 million but is less than or equal to 120 million (y) will have their points score scaled down by multiplying it by x divided by y to give their final score.

Team 6 entries where the total cost of the team is less than or equal to a notional 65 million (x) will score full points calculated by reference to the Scoring Matrix. Team entries where the total cost of the team exceeds 65 million but is less than or equal to 75 million (y) will have their points score scaled down by multiplying it by x divided by y to give their final score.
The Team Prize Pool game winner(s) will be the entry(ies) whose team has the highest tally of points (adjusted as necessary by scaling). If the winning entry for the Team Prize is a fractional pool unit, the prize will be a scaled down in proportion to the fraction of pool unit staked, and any residue in that team prize pool will be added to the next lower prize fund.

The Jackpot Prize Pool game winner(s) will be the entry(ies) whose team has the highest tally of points (adjusted as necessary by scaling) together with whose team captain also has the highest tally of points individually (adjusted as necessary by scaling). If the Jackpot Prize Pool has no winning entry, the value of the prize pool will rollover into the next notified Pool Event. If the winning entry for the Jackpot Prize is a fractional pool unit, the prize will be a scaled down in proportion to the fraction of pool unit staked, and any residue in the Jackpot Prize pool will rollover into the next notified Pool Event.

2.6 Calculation of prizes

2.6.1 Team Prize Pool: 2/3 of each MFM Team 11 and Team 6 Global Team Prize Pool will be allocated to the MFM Team 11 and Team 6 Global Team Prize Pool 1st prize win fund, 2/9 of the MFM Team 11 and Team 6 Global Team Prize Pool will be allocated to the Global Team Prize Pool 2nd prize win fund, and1/9 will be allocated to the MFM Team 11 and Team 6 3rd prize Global Team Prize Pool win fund.

1/1 of the Team 11 and Team 6 MFM Local Team Prize Pool will be allocated to the Local Pool win fund.

2.6.2 Jackpot Prize Pool: 1/1 of the Global Team 11 and Global Team 6 MFM Jackpot Prize Pool will be allocated to the Global Jackpot Prize Pool win fund.

2.6.3 If any Global or Local pool gross fund is guaranteed to a particular amount, then this amount forms the gross fund unless the total of the money invested plus any money brought forward in that fund is greater than the guarantee.

Each net fund is then divided by the total number of winning tickets in that fund to obtain a calculated dividend. The calculated dividend is then rounded down to the next 10 pence to obtain the payable dividend declared to a single pool unit stake.

Only one dividend is declared for each fund. No prizes in aggregate may exceed the value of the gross pool for any pool event.

Where an entry has a fractional pool unit the prize will be calculated in proportion to the entry fraction.

Collectors may at their discretion add prizes, either monetary or in kind, to any of the prize funds.

2.7 Players in a MFM team who do not participate in matches

Entries are compiled by selecting individual players into a team from a squad of players available to play in a match or series of matches comprising a pool event. If for any reason a player is not selected to play in the first match of a pool event, they will be replaced by another player as detailed in rule 1.1.14. If for any reason a player is not selected for any subsequent match within a pool event their selection stands and they becoming non-point scoring contributors to the team aggregate score. They resume their point scoring status for any subsequent game within the pool event for which they later take part.

2.8 Team modification

An entry which has been submitted into a pool may be modified to the extent that a player may be changed for an alternative valid player, provided any change is made before the game in which the original player is scheduled to play commences. A team may only be modified online by registered users who provide both the receipt Team Identification Number and the receipt Verification Code. This facility is only available on selected pool events.

2.9 Void / abandoned matches

If any match of the MFM is abandoned, or there is no official result declared for any reason, and it is not re-played on the same day, then the players participating in the match will be scored up to the point where the match is abandoned and the pool will be settled accordingly, i.e. every team with a player included in that match may be deemed to have a valid score attributable to the MFM prize funds, provided at least one match of the bet takes place.

If none of the matches of the MFM pool event takes place, the pool will be declared void and all stakes refunded.

Provided at least one match in a pool event takes place, a dividend will be declared for the MFM prize funds in accordance with these rules.

If any matches in the MFM pool event are abandoned before the end of the match, Betting Limited reserves the right to declare the pool void before the completion of the other games included in the pool event.
